Moving From Huntington Beach to Long Beach

No, we’re not moving from Huntington Beach to Long Beach, but our sometimes muse, sometimes photo assistant, full-time friend, Brittney is. Yearning for the big city life, she leased a studio apartment in a building on the National Registry of Historic Places. That means it’s old, by California standards. That also means it needed painting. 🙂 Fortunately, it is small, and she is young and full of energy!

I did try to help: I went to Home Depot with her, reminded her to get a drop cloth and tape. I also used the roller, up high, where she couldn’t easily reach. Carmen, well, she smiled, nodded approvingly, and went for a walk, around the neighborhood.

I’m not going to give you the technical data on each image. Suffice it to say that most photos, and the one video, we made with an Olympus OMD EM5, with a 9mm Body Cap Lens. A few were made with a Nikon D700 and 85mm lens.
