Temperatures in the 80s (F), while much of the US was below freezing — seemed like another good day to walk to the beach/pier, in Huntington Beach, CA, USA. Some others had the same idea, and began to establish a beachhead (yes, it can be either one or two words).
Of course, the beach and the pier are not only about volleyball. There is fishing, surfing, paddle boarding, walking, and people watching. These next photos were taken with an Olympus OMD-EM5 and a Zuiko 12-40mm/f2.8 Pro lens. I used Aperture Priority at f.5.6, Auto ISO and Auto White Balance. Post-processing in Lightroom.
And that is a typical summer day, in February, in Huntington Beach, CA, USA!
